New camera

At last I have now got myself a new camera, Canon 500D, a litle step up from my Panasonic DMC-FS5

IHave tested it a bit in the garden, but can't wait to be a bit more familiar with it

As this is my first reflex camera, I am pretty green so fell free to tell me any secrets this camera can hide.

Hello I am a woman with photo and drawing as hobbies. Dormant hobbies they were until this spring. I have now discovered the fun of capturing motives again and started shooting whith my litle digital camera a few months ago, but I soon felt the need of a better camera, so I am now trying to figure out how to use a reflex camera. But as I am an amateur in this field I will need some practise to deliver good pieces.

It was my daughters, who have been on Deviantart for a wile, who draged me to the computer, showed me this site, and made me sign in here

And I am glad they did. Here are so many lovely deviations...
